Nathan Boyd
Managing Partner

During his time as Director of Sales and Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, where “ladies and gentlemen serve ladies and gentlemen,” Nathan learned how to excel with good manners and great customer service. His 25-year career in the hospitality industry led Nathan to become a co-owner of Global Evento.

Nathan sees each new client as an opportunity to build a lifelong partnership, rather than just a one-time transaction. In every client program, Nathan challenges himself and his teammates to find the perfect gift that will bring the program to life. 

Nathan’s favorite Global Evento project is the black tie ship launch events for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Although Nathan can appreciate an extravagant event, he also enjoys living the “riveting” life in his Airstream.

Patrick Corley
Managing Partner

Patrick was first introduced to the hospitality industry as a 5-year-old, thanks to his family’s business. He eventually worked his way up to Account Executive at Maritz Global Events, where he gained valuable experience in all aspects of event services.

While at Maritz, Patrick saw an opportunity to improve the gifting solutions for client programs. He believed gifting could be a more impactful part of each program, because these mementos live on after an event or initiative ends. One of Patrick’s favorite Global Evento gifting projects was the Build-A-Bear program, where each guest designed a bear, provided a special message and donated the bear to a children’s charity.

From being a fisherman in Alaska to a professor in Spain and a nine-time Running of the Bulls participant, Patrick finds new, exciting opportunities no matter where in the world he is located.

Karla Gonzalez-Kuehler
VP Operations & Talent

While growing up in the military, Karla developed a love for travel and a natural ability to respond to quick and frequent changes. Karla’s flexibility and exceptional leadership skills from her role as an Onsite Travel Director and Resource Manager at Maritz helps her excel at Global Evento.

Karla enjoys Global Evento’s role in rewarding people for their hard work. At Global Evento, Karla provides operational excellence, assists in growing our team and determines opportunities to cross-utilize talent throughout the organization. 

Karla loves working and exercising with her teammates, as well as spending time with her vivacious children, Sebastien and Elianna. When Karla and her spouse retire, they plan to rent a luxury RV and travel the U.S.

Kristen Mueller
Operations Coordinator

For Kristen, the best part of her job is giving people a bit of happiness and seeing the product of hard work come to life.

Kristen brings her experiences from studying abroad in Alicante, Spain, and working in Maritz’s Guest Services Department to her role at Global Evento. She is excited to be part of a fast-growing company with ambitious teammates.

Outside of work, Kristen loves to explore new places and dine at local restaurants. She also enjoys her part-time work on a Hawaiian food truck.

Andrea Loeffler
Operations Coordinator

From a private wine dinner in Napa Valley to an exclusive evening on Ellis Island, Andrea has an abundance of experience with large-scale, lavish events.

At Global Evento, Andrea focuses on building valuable client relationships, to facilitate collaborative environments where truly unique experiences are created. She is a firm believer that gifting motivates employees and maximizes their potential to be integral members of the company.

Andrea’s passions include fashion, good food, wine, travel and game nights. She particularly loves being a boy mom and spending time with her husband and their two young sons, Jack and Sam.

Courtney Nixa

When Courtney is not working on Global Evento’s accounts payable and receivable, she may be found training as a professional endurance cross-country mountain biker.

On Global Evento’s first big project with Davis Polk, Courtney enjoyed the opportunity for the whole team to truly work together. Courtney looks forward to the continuous growth of Global Evento’s team.

Courtney enjoys spending time at home with her two teenage girls and two dogs, as well as snow skiing and mountain biking.

Lauren Emge
Operations Manager

Although Lauren happened upon a job in the hospitality industry by chance, nine years of experience later, it has transformed into her passion and career by choice.

As Operations Manager, Lauren is detail-oriented and will go to great lengths to take care of a client. Lauren enjoys problem-solving and helping people find what they need. Her favorite thing about Global Evento is working with a great team who shares a common goal. Lauren’s number one tip for new clients is to trust the Global Evento team to handle your gifting experience so that you can stay focused on your work. 

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Lauren moved to Missouri for school and decided to stay after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and a Master of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Promotions. Outside of her career, Lauren enjoys traveling, hiking, bike riding, relaxing and spending time with her husband and two dogs, Sasha Marie and Bubba Gump.

Mary Knobbe
Operations Manager

Mary gained valuable communication skills, patience and the ability to stay cool under pressure in her prior professions as a journalist and a high school teacher. When Mary was ready for a career change, she contributed those skills to her role in the creative services and guest services at Maritz. 

After five years at Maritz, Mary decided to continue her career in the travel and leisure industry as the Operations Manager at Global Evento. Mary’s love for making others happy motivates her to go the extra mile for clients. 

Outside of work, Mary enjoys making pies and attending rock concerts. She also spends time at home with her husband, three children, one dog, one cat and one tortoise. An interesting fact about Mary is that Mother Teresa was once her babysitter.

Eli Van Matre
Web Architect & Operations Coordinator

Eli works hard to keep projects on track during the fast-paced and busy days at Global Evento. He enjoys working with the smaller, yet constantly growing team at Global Evento that will always lend a helping hand to each other.

As the person who collects our client’s data, Eli’s number one tip is that someone can never give too much information. The more information a client provides, the more personalized products and services the Global Evento team can offer.

When not building websites, Eli attends car meets along with other car enthusiasts like himself. He also enjoys spending time outside as often as possible to fish or swim.

Ann Janes Quinn
VP Strategic Partnerships

Ann’s love for travel and outgoing personality guided her through a 20-year career in the hospitality industry. Prior to her role at Global Evento, Ann was a National Director of Hotel Sales for LA Tourism, Account Director for the St. Regis Brand and Director of East Coast Sales for The Ritz-Carlton.

When asked why she loves working at Global Evento, Ann quoted Winston Churchill: “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” Ann is proud to make a life at Global Evento where she can give people a moment of joy when they receive their gifts.

When she is not working, Ann may be doing HIIT, planning her next beach vacation or acting as social media manager for her rescue dog, Sassy.
