Warehouse Manager
JOB OVERVIEW:

REPORTS TO: Director Warehousing and Logistics


LOCATION: Central West End in St Louis, MO


SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week


SALARY: $50,000-$70,000 a year; bonus up to 10% of salary


TRAVEL: 5-10% of year

POSITION OVERVIEW The Warehouse Manager oversees the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient shipping processes, and seamless communication across departments. This is a hands-on role where the manager will actively participate in daily warehouse operations including receiving, packing, and shipping. This role supports the operations team on all programs involving shipping and kitting projects, while leading part-time warehouse staff and driving process improvements. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for hitting KPI and budget targets.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, inventory, and communicate details of all incoming shipments to the Operations team
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software
  • Lead and coordinate a small, part-time warehouse team in a supportive and flexible work environment
  • Manage international shipments working with brokers and customs agents
  • Create and print shipping labels using ShipStation
  • Ensure all inventory is safely, securely, and accurately packed for shipment
  • Explore and develop innovative packaging solutions that enhance the customer experience while still being efficient and fiscally responsible
  • Establish efficient warehouse practices and standard operating procedures
  • Implement proactive systems for shipment issue escalation and resolution
  • Organize warehouse inventory using forklifts and pallet jacks; break down pallets and boxes as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Collaborate with shipping partners (FedEx, UPS, and international couriers) to resolve logistics challenges
  • Support the Operations team with shipment tracking and troubleshooting
  • Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive leadership
  • Identify and implement creative solutions to operational and customer challenges
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all Global Evento programs and service offerings

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics leadership
  • Demonstrated success in developing and consistently implementing SOPs, accountability structures, and performance metrics
  • Passion for safety in the warehouse environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite daily at headquarters in the Central West End
  • Experience working with diverse teams and clientele
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growing small business environment, preferred
  • Exposure to high-end incentive travel or luxury brands, preferred

  • Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 10–49 pounds
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to work in a moderate-noise warehouse environment
