

Every Fall, the Global Evento Sales team attends IMEX, which is the Worldwide Exhibition for Incentive Travel, Meetings, and Events.
Our Account Executive Kayla Thuston took some time to share her thoughts on attending the event and what the team’s big takeaways were this year. Take a look below at what she had to say!
Our sales team started off October with a bang in Las Vegas for the 2025 IMEX Tradeshow — the Super Bowl of the meetings and incentives world. IMEX is always one of the most exciting events of the year for Global Evento, offering a dynamic space to connect with current clients, meet new partners, and discuss all the ways we can elevate their gifting programs.
Each year, IMEX gives us a firsthand look at the trends shaping the future of corporate gifting, and 2025 was no different. One of the biggest trends we’ve been seeing — and one we’re thrilled to be leading in — is the rise of gifting suites. These curated experiences allow recipients to choose from a selection of thoughtful, themed options such as home goods, outdoor essentials, and kitchen favorites. It’s a perfect blend of personalization and flexibility, and our ability to seamlessly drop-ship gifts after the program makes the process as effortless as it is memorable.
Another trend we have picked up on that often overlaps with gifting suites, is the ability to offer an experience to guests. Event planners are often looking for a way to shake things up at their annual corporate events or stick out from the crowd when hosting clients, and experience-based gifting is always a hit. Getting to design your own pair of shoes or watch your initials be stamped into a leather piece live are two popular examples that Global Evento frequently hosts. Guests are excited to be part of the action and it allows them to not only leave with a new gift, but also with the memory of the entire experience.
As always, IMEX left our team energized and inspired. The conversations we had and the connections we made serve as a perfect springboard into the rest of the year — especially as we move into the holiday gifting and spring incentive travel season. We are already planning on how to utilize the things we’ve learned and have exciting things in motion for the rest of the year.
We can’t wait to see what next year’s IMEX has in store, and we’re already looking forward to reconnecting with our industry friends and partners in 2026!
